chainsaw cutting through tree trunk

The Hardrock Gold Deposit is located approximately 275 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is situated in the Ward of Geraldton, which is part of the amalgamated Municipality of Greenstone. The property is located on a site that was actively mined in the 1930's-1970's.

What's coming next:

Greenstone Gold Mines will be conducting early-work activities by cutting trees from the project area in March. 2021.

The tree clearing will be done using a phased approach. All work will be done according to environmental standards before the nesting season. Health and safety standards will be a high priority on the worksite.
